Whether you are in the service yourself or just a lowly civilian (kidding) I hope you will enjoy this little blog I'm putting together. It's a place to put my stories of every day life as a Blackhawk crew chief in the US Army, and the upcoming deployment to OEF 11 in Afghanistan. - My name's Ray. I joined the Army in 2006, went to BCT at Ft. Jackson in January 2007. I then attended Aviation Logistics School (USAALS) at Ft. Eustis as a 15T and graduated July 2007. I am stationed at Ft. Campbell with Bravo Company 5-101 Aviation, 101st Airborne Division. I have served on one deployment so far, OEF 9 from 08-09, and prepping for my second one in the next three months.
